Hello,

I just finished a playthrough romancing Lae'zel (as a Githyanki), and at the post-final battle scenes I chose to leave with her to the Astral plane. This apparently happens before Karlach's scene where you can convince her to leave for Avernus, meaning the MC isn't there to talk to Karlach and she promptly disintegrates.
Unless it's a bug or I missed something, I hope this particular path of scenes was overlooked and would be fixed in a future patch.

Cheers

You wanted to send her to Avernus? Against her wishes? While you are leaving this world?

Thank the gods she exploded beforehand preventing you from doing the worst possible thing for her. Lobbing off her head anf giving it to Wyll would've been more merciful.

Fear my wrath, for it is great indeed.

Yes, this! Another instance of this is when you play as the Astarion origin and it gets to the part where he starts burning and running away from the sun. There is no MC to talk to Karlach, because this happens after Astarion starts burning, or to let Wyll go to Avernus with her if he’s the blade of Avernus (he didn’t even offer to go, at least in my playthrough he didn’t).

Also I’m not sure if this is a bug or a scene that’s being worked on but Gale was supposed to say something at the moment Karlach started burning because a piece of dialogue popped up but neither the voice over or Gale was there and it just panned awkwardly to an empty space and was silent for a while before it went back to Karlach burning on the docks.

I had so hoped, that when the hotfix announced everyone would get her Avernus scene now, this would have been fixed as well, but apparently not.

Huh? I don't really know where this aggression comes from, friend. It's just a game.
If Karlach is convinced to leave for Avernus, there are interesting and optimistic developments for her plight at the reunion scene in the epilogue.

In my instance Wyll doesn't act on the scene with Karlach after the MC leaves with Lae'zel. Karlach just monologues by herself and dies.

Yeah, that is a massive oversight that they don’t allow Wyll to stand there and give her the choice to come with him. Phew. Why does Larian hate their own characters, LOL?

Did you have Wyll become the next Duke? If he did, he can’t go to Avernus.

That's what happens if you play as someone who leaves the scene early: Lae'zel, Gith following Lae'zel or Spawn Astarion. The list used to include Gale, but they fixed it for him in December. Unfortunately they don't allow the scene with Wyll and Karlach play out on their own, which is stupid and I hope that it will get fixed eventually. That being said, what Ecc2ca wrote about Wyll having to be the Blade of Avernus is also true.
