Echo in animal voices is weird and unnecessary. It feels like we're talking to ghosts and it's very disturbing.
I get that you tried to emulate the feeling of talking to an animal and make it different from talking to a regular person, but the very ability to talk to an animal means you get to have a conversation as if it's a regular person. You followed up on this principle in DOS 2 and we all know that animal voices in that game are of legendary quality and impact. But in BG3, it's as if you're downplaying them by adding this ghostly echo.
Please remove the echo from animal voices.

Thank you for a fantastic game that I can't stop playing ?

Their first mistake was making animals speak in eloquent sentences with human-like delivery. Maybe they realized this too late and were trying to salvage the situation with an audio effect.

Speak with Animals lets you understand them and communicate, but it doesn't increase the animals' intelligence or give them a human-like vocabulary. But Larian made that spell turn animals into Disney. It's jarring.

Agreed, varangian. It takes me out of the game at times. A very minor issue in the grand scheme of things, but still could've been done better, among other things.
