Hello everyone!

I'd like to create my first mod. The idea is to make another character with his own interesting background and abilities. He will be selectable in the origins section of character's creation and cannot be chosen as Custom or the Dark Urge variants. He will also be a Warlock with unique subclass that is not available to any other character or through class respec. So, basically, the one more option among the pre-set characters without possibility to change anything during the character creation.

I've already got the modding multitool and mod manager and found Origins folder with a couple of files. I'll definitely need them, but I'm afraid that is only a tip of an iceberg. My questions are the following. Where can I find the full list of folders and files needed for creating new pre-set character for the origins screen and also new sub-class for the Warlock class? Maybe there is some one here who already tried to create such mode and knows all the details required?

You won't be able to create a new Origin character but you can create a new background and a subclass for custom characters.
You should probably start by downloading similar mods, extracting them with lslib, looking at the mod's folders / files and trying to understand how things work.

There are tutorials on YT. Maybe it's helpful for ya...

Thanks! Yes, I've seen them before. They are very helpful, but they have no info about the origins modding. I still hope it's not impossible and I just need to find the right files

I'm guessing if it is possible it'll only be after the official toolset releases.
