Then out of the blue I get banned again for 1 week, and the topic gets swept under the carpet.

Larian, do something about this. You are looking like you want to keep deleting anything that says you game isn't considered brilliant.

Art is dead because of ‘woke’.

I just finished Half Life Alyx – genius gameplay and environmental design, absolutely horrendous writing.

Is it woke? It’s woke-lite. But worse than that, it’s pandering to morons – to sheep who think Marvel is high-brow, it’s that cynical. There’s actually no one this stupid who could think the dialogue in this game is funny or interesting.

It’s clearly just a cash-in. Valve said ‘look, only socially inept geeks will buy this game – make the guy make sleazy remarks to 19 year old Alyx all the way through and they’ll love it’.

Seriously – it is off the charts bad.

As in worse than BG3’s writing.

Basically, no one in the video game industry cares anymore what the story is, or who writes it. They just get handed a sheet with a number of checkboxes:

1) Strong LGBT character in a position of authority
2) Strong woman in a position of authority (must look ‘ambiguous’)
3) Inclusion of ‘furries’, as seen in Star Wars Outlaws with its nightmare grinning sidekick creature, plus its ambiguous looking ‘owner’
4) One or two minorities who have no human flaws
5) A white person who, if young, is cucked and submissive, and if old is the villain

The hacks are so repetitive that no one even thinks about the words anymore in films and games. They just try to ‘head cannon’ some kind of non-woke story from the visuals.

Don't expect this to stick around either.

There are so many valid complaints that can be made about the writing in most video games, including BG3, but you just had to go for the stupid one that makes you look like a bigot.

I never posted anything on Steam, let alone criticism for a game they don't sell.
I think, if I would post on Steam, it'd be a picture of a Red Panda. Red Pandas are AWESOME. You think cats are cute and can climb? Red Pandas leave them in the dust. Except, not as quickly, cats are quicker. It was a figure of speech.

You seem to have forgotten 'incel' and 'homophobe', seeing as this is the level you're at with the retorts.

Protip: quoting the OP's comments and logically countering them makes you look a lot more convincing when it comes to undermining the content.

Otherwise it's just base anger and 'I want this swept under the carpet because your beliefs don't align with mine' - aka what some insane Steam mod did in deleting a 400 reply post that broke no rules.

They'll live to regret that.
