Hello! I used Larian's cross-save feature to migrate my PS5 game over to my new gaming PC. I can load the save file and get into the game, but then after that it just crashes seemingly at random.

I have not installed any mods, and I just built this PC yesterday and it's overpowered in terms of being able to run this game.

When I go to verify integrity of game files on Steam, it says it failed to do so and that the files will be retrieved.

Anyone having this issue, and do you know a workaround for it?

Thanks.

I haven’t experienced any crashing as of yet. I too used a cross-save from my PS5 to my PC. (I’m using the Steam version also).

As soon as I loaded up that save to my PC, I immediately turned off the cross-save feature in the options and did a quick save and it was successful. I then loaded up that save and played from it after it synced with Steam cloud. I have not turned the Larian cross-save feature back and I deleted the save that was from the PS5 just in case.

I’m not sure what could’ve caused your game to crash. Do you have another clean save from the PS5? You could try what I did to see if it helps.
