A War Cleric that obtains Extra Attacks through multiclassing has a consistently triggering bug because the game does not know how to properly handle [War Priest Extra Attack Charges] if the player can attack more than once per turn. So when a player uses [Main Attack] + [Extra Attack] while still having a Bonus Action available, from that point onward the [War Priest Extra Attack Charges] become permanently stuck as the player's next attack regardless whether the player uses [Action Surge] or ends their turn or entirely leaves combat.

Here is a very clear showcase where after using both [Main Attack] + [Extra Attack] while still having a Bonus Action available, the [War Priest Extra Attack Charges] will become permanently stuck as the player's next attack even out of combat and then be consumed out-of-combat upon the next attack.


To avoid this bug the player has to forcibly;

  • Either waste all bonus actions before ending every single turn (non-Rogue classes must use jump)
  • Or temporarily enter turn-based mode and use jump when it persists after combat

Doing any of these will make the game reset its calculations regarding the charges and correct them, but it's quite annoying to be doing this every single turn for every single fight for an entire playthrough.
