There are some amulets who give you advantage in Wisdom saving throws. With this in mind it may be ok to not have proficiency. However, the whole Sorlock concept in my opinion is a bit lacking. I played it for a longer time but always missed something.
If you see Warlock as the main and Sorcerer as the dip, it's ok, worth the losses. But I came from Sorcerer as the base class, and what you get from Warlock does not compensate the loss of the lvl 6 Sorcerer spells for me. With 2 Cleric / 10 Sorcerer I feel a lot better. Full Sorcerer is really strong and maybe the best alternative, but the 2 from Cleric give me enough to accept not getting the lvl 6 stuff.
Edit: I tried Sorlock again and are quite happy now (Warlock 2/Fighter 4/Sorcerer 6). I would start with Warlock because I want proficiency in Wisdom. Constitution is not that important. I would not cast Haste, so the only concentration is for Hex, not worth to lose Wisdom proficiency, especially because there are perhaps better amulets to use than those with advantage in saving throws.
