As of hotfix 16, every time I try to use Vulkan, the game crashes immediately after I try to start it from the Launcher.
I have 36Gigs of Ram, Nvidia RTX 1600 Super, and Windows 11.
If I run it on DX11, I have no issued whatsoever but just being honest Vulkan looks far superior to DX11. I would much prefer to run Vulkan but it seems Vulkan has a lot of issues with BG3. I have had issues with it before when running bg3 and a lot of players all seem to have a problem with Vulkan at the same time.
Players on the steam forums are griping about the same issue so why they don't come here to mention it I have no idea. I did a search on the forums here and no one seems to have mentioned Vulkan since last year even though THIS same issue has popped up with BG3 in the past. Although it has popped up in the past no one has given a solution to the problem other than "use DX11".
As a side note, Hotfix #17 does not mention addressing this issue and I am still having this issue After downloading 17.
