One of the most beautiful forums have been hacked this night : The one of the game called Zanzarah.
I received the message from a moderator there today, and I was kind of hocked, partly because I've witnessed it in the night without knowing so.
Personally, I love Zanzarah because of its unreached athmosphere and mood. I have never seen a game matching this. However, some people don't like managing the fairies within the game, but I'll leave this up to everyone's taste.
I'm kind of shocked that there is much cynism needed to hack such a beautiful Forum without reason (if the hacker wanted simply to "show" recurity risks of the forum, the he must soon be aware that it's *very* old and can't be revived so easily). Another interpretation could be a thought like "who needs Pokémon-like games ? into the shredder with that !" It certainly needs a *lot* of cynism and hatred to destroy such a Forum, especially since there had never been heavy discussions like here. Or maybe someone wanted to "express" his or her frustration about the fact that Funatics cooperated with Blue Byte in making the Seddlers 5 (die Siedler) - which doesn't look at all like its precessors !
The Zanzarah Forum won't be online for the next time; it's very old and not easy to revive again.
I'm sending this message out, because this hack is making me kind of sick. Hope that they get it running one day again.
