Thanks for such an amazing game Larian!!!!

I'm not usually one to ever ask for DLCs / expansions etc... and i know its a pipe dream, but I really feel like there is so much potential for extra content with this game. I would happily (and i'm sure many others would) pay a premium for more content. I'd even violate one of my red lines and preorder whatever additional content is decided on!

I appreciate a lot of epilogue / post game DLC content would be challenging due to so many choices / endings - so how about a Dark Urge prequel DLC recounting his/her life from before and leading up to the core game (and unlocked after completing a Dark Urge playthrough)? I think there are a lot of reasons why this would be pretty good and maybe easier to do that post-game content.
  • Durge is really popular with the playerbase.
  • You could re-use a lot of the locations / assets already in the game (moonrise, locations in baldurs gate like temple, devils fee...)
  • You already have the main beats of the story mapped out from work on his/her backstory from the main game.
  • It could be less choice driven and more linear storytelling with some exciting / more episodic adventures (devils fee / getting the crown; dealing with orin's shenanigans in the temple; questioning his/her life / joining the paladins; the urge awakening in them as a young adult; the betrayal). An episodic structure might reduce work in making cohesive story that flows, while also enabling you to visit different times in their life.

I know there is a lots of appetite for all kinds of BG3 extra content (Kicking Vlaakiths ass with Laezel, helping Karlach in Avernus etc...). All of which would be great, but i guess this is my attempt to think of something that might be easier to deliver but which would stilll greatly expand on the BG3 world and also deliver more content for a much loved character.

What do people think? Aside from - its never going to happen lol.
