My character already had a "sleep" with Shadowheart, way before the camp celebration.
Now, when he went to sleep during the celeb, I had a choice which was like "sleep alone"or "get Shadow out off your head".
I choose the second, but nothing important seems to happen.
Did I mess something with Shadow? What actually happened?

You did not mess up anything, once you manage to unlock an Act 1 romance scene long before the camp celebration event this is what happens, because there is only one noteable romance scene for each companion in Act 1 and its like a way of reassuring the player where you stand in the spectrum of potential relationships.

So what happened was that had you not been able to unlock it so early, you likely would have done so during the camp celebration scene instead granted that approval rate would not be horribly bad.

I like to wait until right before the camp celebration to choose the dialogue option that initiates the romance, because the camp celebration night feels empty otherwise.
