So, has someone that came to play BG3 after playing Dos2, the thing that bugs me the most about bg3 is the looting experience, its really slow and anoying trying to pickup all the item's of any table for instance, the character keeps walking back and fourth to grab items that are in front of them.

I guess that could be intentional because of the way bg3 handles picking up items during combat, it being a free action and all, but a simple loophole to that is to simply click and drag the item to your characters feet and then grabbing it, for some reason the drag interaction has a lot more range and its also free.

Basicaly if you could grab items at the same range as draggin them around the looting experience in this game would be a lot more enjoyable.

It would also be great if you could pickup item as fast as in dos2, though the pickup range would be my priority for a fix.

Yeah the pickup range is so inconsistent it makes me roll my eyes grin

In DOS2 telekinesis was ESSENTIAL for me, but in BG3... a pouch on a table? Let me just walk around the whole planet over mountains and under hills to grab it. It's insane.

(Obligatory showcase of BG3's painful pathfinding)

It would have been crazy to just ask the guy to take one step aside so that the bag could be opened. It's much easier to simply reach through stone with your hand XD.
