There are 2 bugs that have been present in the game since the beginning but have not been fixed despite being reported multiple times.

1. Sorlock.
In DnD, Sorlock is the most powerful multiclass due to its ability to easily navigate the game mechanics. However, in Baldur's Gate 3, this is not possible because the game provides a limited number of rests, forcing us to eventually take a long rest.

The Sorlock is based on the Sorcerer and Warlock classes, aiming to combine the Sorcerer's Metamagic with the Warlock's Eldritch Blast, as the Warlock can use their Charisma modifier for this spell.

However, since the game's release, it is still not possible to decide which type of spell slot to use. Neither for spells nor for Metamagic can the type of spell slot be chosen, whether it's a blue or purple spell slot. Only the level can be selected.

For example, if I want to cast a 2nd-level spell and have 2 2nd-level Warlock spell slots and 2 2nd-level Sorcerer spell slots left, the spell I cast determines which slot is used based on the class from which I obtained the spell. However, if I have no spell slots of the corresponding class left, I am allowed to use the others.

This does not adhere to the rules of DnD and honestly bothers me to an extreme extent. So much so that I abandoned my previously started playthrough. Larian, please fix this issue. I want to be able to decide which spell slot to use, both for spells and Metamagic!

2. Monk

The Monk gets the opportunity to use their bonus action to attack for 1 round if they previously used the action for an attack. However, I don't get the action when I attack from stealth and then am not immediately next in line! More precisely, I do get it, but when it's my turn, the action is suddenly gone, even though my resources for that turn have been consumed for the attack. This is frustrating because I sometimes had to sacrifice Ki points to finish my action as originally planned.

The bonus action attack received when attacking someone should always last for 1 round and not be simply removed, as it currently happens.

I believe this might be due to the fact that the combat had already started, but the Monk was still in stealth, and we attacked from stealth! The game may not fully realize that we are then in the turn-based mode. However, this is just a speculation.

I hope that these two issues are finally addressed, as I find both of them very annoying and unnecessary resource drains. While they may not be game-breaking bugs, considering the ongoing quality improvements, it's honestly sad that they have not been fixed yet.

Nevertheless, the game is rightfully considered the game of the decade. It's not for nothing that I've already spent 270 hours in the Early Access of the game.
