Would rather die in style, than have my character live like a walking trash can that came out of a dumpster.

I always have that same thought, but inevitable dice hijinks just makes me walk around with that leatherette helmet that makes my beautiful elf head resemble an acorn, it's like I left my elf home for this adventure, and just as I go to walk out the door, mummy elf pops that little leather helmet on my head.

AC can actually matter in this game so I normally look for items that provide AC.

In a game like Dark Souls where armour is less relevant because you just get obliterated unless you git gud anyway, I go pure fashion.

Of course, this is where systems like "Transmog" or other such appearance customization fits in, allowing the best of both worlds. You can run around in your BiS items making you super powerful... But you can also make them look cool and awesome too.

Agreed, I've found some nice robes that suit my elf core, glow up. However, that brown leather just keeps me alive. Maybe next build I'll go pure fashion and see how the chips fall.... I'm just rocking that brown on brown look for now....

LOL, this actually made me laugh, because I know you wasted a turn removing all your armor at the end of the Netherbrain battle (on honour mode), so you would be presentable in your screenshot. So funny. xD

In Style, the best Tieflings are the Stylish ones look at Dante, Vergil and Nero from DmC, My Tiefling main is pretty stylish himself, No shirt, no shoes and he still gets service, because He's Sexy and he knows it,

Well, DUH!!!!!!
I got tired of having my female fighter going to death's door because of this skimpy-but very cute- outfit,
and Shadowheart having to heal her over and over....
Finally put on some full plate and quit that nonsense.

The fact that we have to choose at all is a major negative to BG3 imo.
Was hoping for transmog in patch6 but we got.. [checks notes].. kissing.

I need an "it depends". Lae'zel gets her buff armour that often doesn't look great but the rest of the gang fares reasonably well with decent but pretty armour, positioning, and otherwise looking after each others' fashionably dressed assets. I can't have Astarion not looking his best!
