Could be a my game only thing but it's another companion related issue since I managed to get Karlach to say yes at the Tiefling Party and as my Paladin hit the Bed Roll and selected out of the 3 choices "Karlach" the camp scene didn't trigger and I literally went to sleep.
Now I know the fire scene was meant to play and on the 2nd upgrade I didn't get the kiss option pretty much been friend zoned which seems to happen on a couple of others since patch 6.
as said could be a me thing but I find it slightly weird I know a bunch of stuff has occurred with companions since patch 6 especially Minthara .
Stuff I've noticed Astarion detached himself from the Grymforge boat cut scene he was waiting for me with the slavers before I even Disembarked.
Astarion at Very High has friend zoned me now only get the leave and stay at camp options I hadn't even used all his story dialogue options yet ACT 2 I got the Araj scene and he didn't bite bearly any approval points rollling in can't even remember the last time I gained his approval since Araj.
Karlach party thing
Halsins corpse is too heavy to move and I've had it travelling with my camp from the goblin camp into the shadowlands pretty sure the other bodies don't remain as decoration including Alfira's I'm a bit sick of seeing his naked body.
This is not all on the same character by the way Paladin/Karlach issues,
Warlock/Astarion , Cleric/Astarion , Can't remember class /Halsin (one of my female Tavs) .
All Single player saved games and Xbox X console.
PS: The Karlach friend zone falls into one of my little wish list requests "Second Chance Romance ACT 2 option"
Small story I was trying to romance one of the other companions as that vampire keeps winning me over and I got hit with Gales Ultimatum which hit me for a loop ( I did not know he did this as one of his quirks)so when my annoyance proclaimed I'm not talking to you tonight which was obviously date night I was 100 % Friend zoned now this was a choice made then unlike Karlach's trigger not activating now. However It wasn't my choice to be locked out of all of them nobody regardless of approval has stepped forward and we all know ACT 2 is the crucial companion chapter.
Please can I have a secondary trigger (Gale gives you one more chance to take that date scene after say 20 long rests or something on the lonesome tavs to initiate the romance.)
