For the "Soldier" background, of the 4 inspirations of the grove, only one works

Frustrating that the “No One Left Behind” inspiration was working perfectly before Patch 6, and is such a small detail that it will probably take months to fix, if ever. Thanks for reporting this here.

This isn't just limited to "No One Left Behind" since there's multiple IPs I can't seem to get anymore, including the one where you save Arabella for Wyll. Patch 6 just did something to IPs and it's annoying it isn't working. Hell, I can barely find any information about the problem, so it's unlikely to get fixed anytime soon, or at all as Ecc2ca said. It isn't a widespread problem, hence less attention on it.

Just to confirm, this has been reported to the team, they're aware and working on it!

That's good to hear at least. Hope the fix won't take too long, because inspiration is a major feature that a lot of players rely on. I'm frankly unlikely to continue my current playthrough until the issue has been solved.

Doesn't look like it's a bug that's easy to try and circumvent as a player either. Decided to go through the hassle of doing a fresh install in hopes that it would solve the issue, but it didn't help at all. Makes me wonder just how many people are affected by this bug, but just haven't realized that they're hit by it and as a result it's gone under-reported. I know the devs are aware of it and working on fixing it, but if it affects far more people than just those that have reported it, it should be a high priority issue to solve. For now I'm shelfing the game entirely, because I can't get myself to actually play the game when such a large and important feature in the game has been left basically entirely unfunctional.

Irritating, true, and should be fixed. But IMO no biggy for gameplay, as there are shitloads of inspirations. Even after I bungled my party comp and had only three backgrounds most of the time I ran around with 4 and "wasted" the new ones I was getting.

While I'm sure it won't affect a lot of people, while playing on Hardcore I'm not taking the chance of being in need of inspiration to save a conversation, but not having them because the game is bugged. Each to their own I suppose.
