I won't be adding any long passages of character analytics and reasoning, I think that the survey numbers are very telling by themselves. These are the survey results regarding AA patch 6 kisses. The % in the answers remained pretty much the same since the survey hit 170-200 responses, so you can scale these results.

Every person, who took time to fill this poll has their heart out for this character and patch 6 brought a lot of stress to the players, to many I spoke personally and offered my support.

The results will be sent to Larian via email as well. All unique responses that were filled in "Other" options will be sent as a separate document as well.

I hope everyone can enjoy the version of the character they like the best and have all the fun, fulfillment, inspiration, and pleasure that the game is supposed to bring.

Thank you for posting the results! It's pretty clear the majority is unhappy with the changes that remove roleplay options and that the main issue is Tav's facial expressions (and body language).

One thing that worries me is that so many want the kisses to be dependent on the romance scene, which is a very unique, one time thing moment that results in Tav's off-screen death. It's possible to roleplay that Tav is nervous about dying and asks Astarion to be gentle because of it, but they might be totally fine with rough play and prefer it in every other circumstance. Likewise, they might want to feel pain in that moment because they're pumped after Astarion's ascension, but then decide they prefer the gentle approach later. Tav may also want to kiss differently depending on their mood and the current atmosphere of the moment they are in in the story. If they decide to make two variations I'd rather we were able to choose between them when asking about the relationship.

I am curious. Unless this is a different survey, the questionnaire was about both Ascended and Spawn Astarion, so I am wondering what happened to the other half of the survey? Or did you not get enough replies for that one? No offence meant, I am really just curious because you don't even mention it.

You're right, it's the same survey. People who prefer spawn are happy with the update, but they want more kisses and most of all they want HUGS. There is not much to publish because 91% like the kiss and 97% like the update. But there are a lot of "free form" unique asks and suggestions in it, and I will prepare it as a separate document and send to Larian via email along with this feedback.
