I don't know if this is a bug or something i am missing.

Even if i resist until the end of the 4th round the torch always goes out. Nothing changes if i stay near the statue all the time or inside the Globe of Invulnerability nothing changes. Even if i beat all elementals at the end of the round torch goes out. Is there something i can do?

Sounds like a bug. If you aren’t on Honour mode, you could try reloading to see if anything changes. If that isn’t working or you are on honour mode, you could go fail a puzzle in another room, which will create a horde of enemies. The good thing is though, if you fight your way through the horde to the door leading to Ansur, it should now be open and you should be able to get to Ansur. That’s how it worked for me anyway.

No. I'm not in honour mode. I will try in another room. I reloaded my save starting in front of the statue before starting the fight but nothing changed. I could load another previous save and starting from another puzzle. Yes i realized the door is open, but i don't know if solving puzzles gives you some interesting rewards more.

I was there just one time, in that instance I did not get anything from the puzzles, except the open door to Ansur.

I personally have had no issues with the courage challenge I do pretty much fight all the elementals till the timer runs out rather than stand in the globe of invulnerability however I have the worst time on the strategy one still not been able to take out that king in 2 moves.
