so Im in Wyrm's crossing ( no idea if that makes a difference or not ). My group hide key is only partially working. i can hide my group, but the group hide key would unhide them. I have to go to each character and manually unhide them. or they'll automatically unhide if discovered. I was in the circus when this started and I think it might have to do with me testing my stealth with trying to lockpick the displacer beast cage.

steps I've taken to try to fix the issue.

remapped the group hide key, still broken regardless the key i use.
reloaded a previous save where it wasnt broken, still broken on that save.
reloaded game file, Still broken.
closed game entirely, didnt fix it.
validated installed files, didnt fix it.

ok so i went farther back in my saves and i found a save thats not terribly far off where Group hide isnt broken. so im starting back from there and deleting all saves after.

AFAIK it's been broken since they made group hide/unhide include summons/familiars/etc. in Patch 6.

It apparently only attempts to unhide if everybody is already hidden, otherwise it attempts to Hide. Since some summons don't have a hide, if you have any such summons out it will always attempt to hide and never unhide, since here will always be some entities (said summons) who aren't hiding.

Seems like it would be an easy fix to either:
1. Reverse it so it unhides if anybody is hidden, otherwise hides.
2. Determine whether to hide/unhide based on whether the currently selected entity is unhidden/hidden.
3. Ignore any entity that doesn't have a hide when checking if anybody isn't hidden.
4. Gives all those summons the ability to hide with 0 + dex proficiency or w/e.
