Hi everyone,

a friend of me and i are playing an HR coop game.
He has Lae'zel in his party. Normally i'm the face of the group in conversations. We are not playing a baddie game, so we tried to get the "most good" solutions so far.

We have now the problem, that Kith'rak Voss never showed up after Crčche Y'llek.
I know that there must be some scene, bcs i googled it and i had the encounter on my single player run.

His char is (was) in an relationship with Lae'zel (87 or so) and we didn't join sides with Vlaakith at the Créche. Also, she was nearly killed at the purifier. After the events, she began to really question her loyality with Vlaakith. So good, that was what he wanted.
In the forced long rest after the mountain pass, we had no Voss encounter.
Also, we didn't do any shenanigans at the patrol encounter first, so all was normalgame process.
By the way, we also never had the encounter between Shadowheart and Lae'zel, where they want to kill each other. (maybe, bcs he had her and i had Shadow in seperated parties??

The introduction of Orpheues in the forced interaction with the emperor went not so well, bcs Lae'zel did a 180° turn on her former behaviour. In her cutscenes, she turned from "Orpheues maybe the better solution to Orpheus is the badest baddie of all time."
So now, we are in Act 3 and we went to Raphael (didn't accept his deal). Voss was not in the room/building. At this moment, Lae'zel, who was not open for other solutions then "Vlaakith forever bla bla bla" anymore went full Zealot mode. She sweared her life to Vlaakith and ended the relationship with my friends Char out of nowhere (2-3 long rests later after the visit with Raphael). There was no possible dialogue option to prevent any of this (also not in the Orpheues/Emperor introduction scene).

He (my friend and also his char :-D) is really sad now.

I think, this all went dark for her, bcs the whole Voss strand wasn't happening and the game couln't handle it otherwhise.

We also learned only from stealing a book from Helsik of her way to the House of Hope (we didn't do this quest at this stage of our run). This whole Orphic hammer quest seems weird from our ingame perspective.
Bcs we want to free Orpheus, but there is no Voss and Lae'zel told my friends Char, that she will kill him, if he stands between her and Orpheus.
We do not want to join with Raphael or the emperor, but it seems, that will be our only way at this moment.

But, is there any possible solution to cath up this strand with Voss?
Can he be found somewhere in act 3 and turn the tide for Orpheus and Lae'zel?
Is there a possibility, that we can free Orpheues and maybe joining with him without Voss ever showed up?

Thanks for help and answers and best regards.

PS: Both of us didn't finish the game yet. This is our most advanced point of the story so far.

Hey!

The only necessary check to get the scene with Voss is to have met and spoken with Vlaakith at the Creche. I have passed on your report and the steps to the team so they can look into what might have caused the scene not to trigger.

If you still want to turn Lae'zel against Vlaakith you can do the following during a certain camp visit in Act 3 (tagging as spoilers just in case):
When Vlaakith visits you in camp at the start of Act 3, you can succeed a difficult roll and switch her to siding with Orpheus, even without Voss, which would allow the romance to continue. It sounds like you might be past this event already, but in case you still have not had this camp event.

Thanks for the answer. Year, we are already passed this scene and he failed the check. He plays a barb and i couldn't patch him up with magic and guidance in this scene. :-/ We also play with hidden check difficulty.
Maybe more info. I'm the host of the game and we have Lae'zel and Shadowheart always in our parties at camp night.
We are thinking about the option to fire our companions at every long rest, so cutscenes may not be interfered by different party problems but we fear on the same turn, that every scene may then always be with my char as the leading/host char.

So, can anyone answer my question about freeing Orpheus and joining with him without Voss/Lae'zel?
Is it possible?

Thx for answering
