Larian Studios Forums Baldur's Gate III Baldur's Gate III - General Larian Forum account different from Larian Studios account?

I have a Larian Forum account (obviously) but when I try to run Baldur's Gate 3 on Steam it opens a window to log in to a Larian account and then says, "user not found," when I input the same info that got me in here. Is the Larian Studios account it wants me to log in to a completely different thing than my existing forum account? Do I just create a new account for the game launcher and is there some way to link the 2 accounts if I do have to make a new one?

Yes the Larian account is different from a Larian Account, which you can create here: https://larian.com/account/login
There is not a way at the moment to link both accounts.
