Thanks Wormerine! Really cool video which answers a longstanding question about the discrepency between characters’ positions in cut scenes and in gameplay. (It’s a pipeline issue; blocking characters independently of in-game coordinates helps position cameras and lights automatically).
Also, I’m going to steal “My raw material was ambiguity, my goal was processing this into clarity.” I’ll repeat it often and never quote the source (that would muddle the message).
Edit: There’s an interesting audience question about scope, whose paraphrased answer is: “When is enough enough? Only Swen knows”. I’d give quite a bit of local currency to know how Mr Vincke makes that determination.
