I've tried to search on this forum for any info about damage and damage calculations, but I didn't find any.
Things I'd like to ask:
1. If you use a melee weapon, do damage bonuses from Augment Damage, and Poison, Fire and Lightning Damage stack?
2. If you use a dagger, do Sword Expertise and Augment Damage work together with Assassin's Kiss?
3. If you want to make a bow wielding character, does the damage from True Shot and Splitting Arrows work together? Does Augment damage help to improve the damage in this case?
4. 'Each arrow does *36 + 120* damage'. What does this mean?
I'd appreciate it if any one could help me answer the questions.

Thanks, GlanceALot.
I always thought that dagger was a sword class weapon. My assy always uses a dagger but I spent two points in Sword Expertise. Such a waste!

True Shot is broke, and does not give any damage bonus. You can use iZakaroN's SaveEditor (or from Kiya's site, with description) to remove any skill points you put in this. Augment Damage only works for melee attacks. If you have or learn level 1 in Sword Expertise or Augment Damage (the starting skills for the male warrior), the next time you save and load the game you will have level 2 in these skills. There are many more potentially powerful swords in the game than daggers, and even with Assassin's Kiss maxed, swords can do more damage. There are only a couple unique daggers that are always in the game, otherwise you have to rely on random drops or purchases. Of course if you are not having trouble with daggers, there is no need to switch to swords, especially since the game tends to get easier as it progresses.

Hi shootnrun73!
[color:"orange"]1. If you use a melee weapon, do damage bonuses from Augment Damage, and Poison, Fire and Lightning Damage stack?
Yes they do. Realise that Posion, Fire and Lightning Damage only work for a percentage of your hits, so you'll probably only get one at a time.
[color:"orange"]2. If you use a dagger, do Sword Expertise and Augment Damage work together with Assassin's Kiss?
Sword Expertise does not affect it as it is a Dagger class. Augment Damage should work, but I'm not sure if it's multiplied.
[color:"orange"]3. If you want to make a bow wielding character, does the damage from True Shot and Splitting Arrows work together? Does Augment damage help to improve the damage in this case?
Augment Damage applies to melee weapons only (not fists, though). I believe True Shot is broken and does not apply any damage.
[color:"orange"]4. 'Each arrow does *36 + 120* damage'. What does this mean?
This means that each arrow deals at least 36 damage and up to an additional 120 damage. So it deals between 36 and 156 damage.
Good luck!

@Raze Thanks for the link. I've downloaded the editor and I'll see if it works. I know that swords do way more damage than daggers. I chose daggers for 'thematic reasons' only. I wanted her to look more like an assassin. Assassins usually prefer smaller and lighter weapons, right? It doesn't really matter anyway coz most of the time it's her scorpion traps that do the killing.
@HandEFood Aaarrgh. I'm so stupid. I already spent three points in True Shot. Hope the editor from the link can solve this problem...
This is off topic, but I couldn't help noticing that you're from Australia, HandEFood. We're neighbours! I have a lot of friends from your country (some are from Melbourne) who are staying in my city. Nice people! I really want to go to Australia to see what it's like but I can't afford the plane ticket. Still too expensive for an average Indonesian, like me. May be someday...

Ow, but the dagger has the extra advantage of attacking quickly! I stole a dagger from Kistandalius store and BOY THAT'S SOME DAGGER! Not only it do more damage then most daggers, it drains hp and mp from most enemies! I don't remember the last time I used a healing potion, whenever I'm low on hp I just use restoration and let my dagger refill my mp bar at the expense of my enemies'.

I've also definitely gotten an extra level of Bow Expertise with a female survivor. Have no idea how I get it. I had also seen the male warrior ones but didn't realize it was a bug. Anyway, it's a more generalized bug than realized. Guess I should really use an editor to get rid of that point, huh? Problem is, that the "floaty text" passes by so quickly, I'm never sure if I've gotten things like that legitimately or not, or indeed, what I've gotten from various quests. Wish there was some kind of running log that you could peruse all those messages to figure out what's really going on. Warren
