I’ve saved Halsin at the Goblin Camp and he went back to the grove. I did some more quests in the Shadowlands and came to the Thaniel quest which requires Halsin. However he’s now gone from the grove and not in my camp. Where did he go???

I've also had this happen, but in Act 2 after completing the Thaniel questline fully. Still waiting for a reappearance. In your case, I would double check last light inn by that one sleep cursed guy's bedside. If he's not there, maybe he's already by the portal spot. If he's not there either, well... Let me know if you ever find him...

I lost mine somewhere after attacking Ketheric, someone said he's supposed to be findable at Moonrise Towers after the quest there, but I reloaded and he was already gone by that point. Maybe my Durge was sleep walking again lol

Not sure I understand. Are you hopping between grove and shadow cursed lands ? I didn't think that was even possible. Going back to Act 1 from Act 2.
At any rate there's a clear warning, when you go to act 2, to tie up all loose ends of act 1, because you won't be able to do that anymore once you pass on.

Yes you can do that to a point. There are still people in the Grove saying how nice it is to have Halsin back, but he’s not there

Yeah I played the lute and woke that guy up, he told me to get Halsin. But so far no luck

How odd. My Halsin stayed with that guy the entire time, until I woke him. But I also informed Halsin that guy existed before waking him up, maybe he would normally stay in your camp if you don't. Can only check the portal spot (by the beach on the other side of last light inn, there's fish there), but he's probably bugged out.

If you want to/are able to reload, you can try getting Halsin to the sleeping guy before he wakes up. That's all I have for suggestions sadly.

Come to think of it, my Halsin bugged out shortly after leaving last light inn. I only spoke to him in camp one time after, completed the official recruitment, gone. Camp might be a dangerous place for Act 2 Halsin.

Travel back to the Wilderness, Underdark, Mountain Pass is ended ONLY by enetering Shadowfell, i.e. 5 minutes before ending Act 2.

IMO one of the mistakes of the game.

BTW - in one playthrough I raced to Moonrise Towers - ignoring the Druid verus Goblin feud - to recruit Minthara. The game went bonkers when I began to kill everybody in the Goblin Camp ... Minthara went hostile on me, then changed her mind, I killed and rezzed her, got attacked again, moved my camp to Mountain Pass, she was still hostile, so I kiled and rezzed her again ... it was a mess
