Larian Studios Forums Baldur's Gate III Baldur's Gate III - Technical & Gameplay Problems Stuck in camp and cant long rest

Hi there!

I'm having some trouble with my latest honour mode playthrough in that a player character and shadowheart both got arrested at last light inn. Both broke out as usual but are now unable to fast travel, long rest or return to/leave camp. I thought that forcing them to camp would fix the issue by killing/resurrecting them but now they are both stuck at camp.

I can't long rest, leave camp, travel to a different area of the map (like the mountain pass) or disband them from my party which just cuts the conversation short and leaves them in my party. The other PC is having the same issues but the other characters in my party are completely fine.

Was looking for some help for this because I dont know what else to try and dont really feel like restarting completely, I have also not added any mods to this save.

Managed to find a workaround so I though I'd add to this for anyone encountering the same issue

I've spent a good amount of time trying to find a workaround to this and the only thing that seems to work is:

Killing the affected character
Removing all their items and picking them up
Reviving them outside of camp
Getting them arrested again
Breaking out of jail again

I'm not sure what happened but the game must've thought I was still in prison
