I would like it very much to be possible to look at my favorite companion during the dialog, and the camera would not jump so quickly from him to Tav, immediately after the completion of the line, and stayed on him. Our companions have beautiful lively faces and facial expressions, and I would really like to bring back the ability to look at them. It used to be possible, in my first playthrough in Act 1 the camera stayed on the companion, and I was amazed at how lively their faces were, it was interesting to watch their facial expressions, and it embellished my playthrough. After an update (unfortunately, I don't remember which one), the camera started to abruptly switch to Tav, and I vainly explored all the settings menus, hoping to get everything back the way it was... But alas.
I ask to return this option, because changing the camera angle does not require any special effort or cost, especially since at first it was like this in the game, and only then, for some reason, the camera began to jump to Tav at any opportunity. During dialogs with NPS switching the camera to the squad is a good idea, companions and Tav sometimes have interesting facial expressions, they react curiously to what's going on, but in the case of a dialog with your favorite companion, this camera jump is sometimes very annoying, especially in Act 1, when romantic interactions are still minimal (one line), as well as when coming up to a companion before the start of romantic interactions.
I don't even have time to catch the expression on his face when the dialog ends. Also during story dialogs with companions I would like to be able to leave the camera on them. This would increase immersion in the game (in reality we look at the person we're talking to, not at ourselves), add realism to the perception of what's going on, and help to better understand their feelings and emotions. Now Astarion even laughs off-screen in his finale, even though the camera used to stay on him at that point. Sometimes I have to look for videos of those scenes that I had in the game to pause to look at facial expressions and looks, in the game I just don't have time to see them properly.
I understand that some people may like to look primarily at their own characters in the game, but you could add an appropriate setting to the game menu that changes the camera angle, and then those who want to get more enjoyment out of interacting with their companions, will be able to do so. It's not a difficult change at all, and one that some players may take great joy in.
