Using exploits isn't really my idea of fun. I've had a fair number of ranged attack gambits as well, and whether you can pull this off depends on successful stealth checks which I think get more and more difficult. Sneaking up on a target and neutralising it without being seen or heard works IRL as well. That said, my "battle" with Radija at Moonrise Towers was just weird. One skeleton archer got to kill her without activating combat, while she patiently waited for it to finish its job with three of four arrows. "Fleeing in panic" for not seeing the attacker, raising alarm or casting some defensive spells would have been logical. This was the only time this happened in my playthrough, though, so my head-canon became that the Myrkulite simply welcomed death. In other encounters I didn't manage to get more than two or three missiles fired before being discovered. Maybe another exception was blowing up the Felogyr workshop with a Wogglim. But that was from the roof of Carrion's place well hidden in shadow. It still triggered a stealth check. When stormed the building, combat ensued normally.
