Anyone else having a problem with multi-player now? My friend and I have updated to patch 7, neither of us have any mods installed AT ALL right now because we know and have troubleshot irritating mod issues with multi-player in the past, and when we try to join a game together the same way we've been doing for months now, we both get a "unable to join" or connection error. I don't remember the exact wording as I'm not at my computer right now. But even with new save files and no mods, we're stumped. Anyone else?

Are yall on 2 different platforms? Pc/console?

Either way, me and my friend are both on PC and this happens sometimes when 1 of our games crash and we try to load back in. A fix we found was starting a new multiplayer game. Just skip through character creation and load into the mindflayer ship. Make sure both you and your friend are loaded up and standing in that first room. Then, load your old save file. It should pull both of you into the save game. The few times I had to do this, it worked every time.

Hello! We are reciving reports of players attempting to play multiplayer on Steam but are getting a connection error. Our team is currently investigating this issue, however we have found a workaround in the meantime.

It has been reported that if you remove the people who you are trying to play with from your Steam Friends List and join using Direct Connect, it should work.

Please keep in mind as well that if one person has mods installed, all must have the exact same mods installed - no more, no less. It is also important to double check that everyone is using the same mod version.
