So I played through as Origin Karlach and decided to romance Astarion. The romance itself proceeded fine, I convinced him not to ascend, and we beat the brain together. Post docks scene, he shows up and mourns my impending death but suggests we should go back to the Hells together. I say yes, we walk towards the camera holding hands and fade to black. When I get to the party, I arrive alone. Astarion is there and when talked to, is friendly but basically acts like we were never an item. He greets me with a 'Look who finally decided to show up' line. Best I can get out of him is a hug. Some at the party treat me as Karlach and we converse about my recent adventures in the Hells. Others act like I am someone else (a Tav?) who went with Karlach to the Hells and not as her. I reran the entire brain fight again after Patch 7 and got the same result. Not exactly a world-ending problem but it did kind of spoil the reunion party for me a bit.
