A deity's voluntary transformation into a mind flayer could create a divine mind flayer, an incredibly powerful being that combines divine and psionic powers. It would pose a threat not only to mortals, but to other gods as well, with the ability to control minds on unprecedented levels. Such a being could easily take over planes of existence or even rewrite the laws of reality to suit itself, making it one of the greatest threats to the multiverse.

I want a wide discussion of one of Gale's possible endings.

Also, I think the game needs a small hotfix, because it seems like no one is reacting to this unprecedented event properly. It might even get the attention of AO regarding the Mind Flayer in the pantheon, but at least a reaction from Jergal and the party is needed

Thanks to Larian for Baldurs Gate 3 and the reaction to player feedback

1. There are already divine mind flayer as despite what nonsense BG3 tells you they have souls and racial deites.

2. As divine being they are subjected to Aos laws, so either no direct interference or they are powered down.
