Larian Studios Forums Baldur's Gate III Baldur's Gate III - Modding Mods are disabling every launch

Hello,

So, i'm playing BG3 with a lot of mods, installed everything with vortex and its all working fine, no issues, but what bugs me is that every time I am closing game and launching it again next time i want to play - I need to manually enable every mod again, and it is annoying with need to enable 200+ mods without any buttons. I cant quite catch the reason for it. maybe someone here can give me a hint or smth?

It probably has to do with the latest big update, which aimed to integrate mods in the actual game folders automatically(i.e. forces mods to be "native") so that Vortex is no longer needed. I don't know the technicalities behind it, but that is what my friend told me, and she has more experience with using mods in games and how they are installed. So, I guess it depends on how the BG3 crew "wants users to install mods" now, which I haven't tried. I only just installed the game after deleting it because mods kept breaking for my 2-player save(it would always kick her to the main menu while trying to join my game after every new patch or update) and I got tired of it. Seeing this post doesn't give me much hope for it.

Same problem here, wish I had a enable all button

This is also happening to me, BUT I only use the BG3 MM and it only happens when I experience a crash. Crashes are caused by hotfixes, modders updating mods, etc.

AND I have to reselect EULA, and acknowledge all of the rules to use the game and mods.

It’s infuriating.

I found that after I cleaned out "Dead" mods that haven't been updated yet it leaves all the mods enabled. No enable all button, but at least it was only a one-time slog.

You have to remove 1) immersive UI 2) Mod Fixer 3) any mods that will not LET you check the box in-game (these don't have the necessary code updates for PATCH 7 yet)

Since then, my game has run perfect.
