I really need some help here. I'm lost in Iona's dungeon and have been for AGES now. The monsters are getting really annoying and I only seem to be going down in the dungeon. Am I doing something wrong?

The exit is to the far west on the first level. There are 3 levels in the dungeon about the same size, then a small 4th level that contains a shortcut up to the first level. Level 2 and lower are optional. Help! Can't find Gyrion... Iona's dungeon maps

I don't know what level Cyrion is, but he is a little tougher than the stronger monsters on the third level of the dungeon. I left and rescued Zandalor to get my teleporter stones before returning to do the lower levels of Iona's dungeon, and Cyrion took an extra couple of swings to kill.
If you are having trouble with level 3, then Cyrion would be difficult. There is a piece of chicken in front of the Cyrion's cave.... Spoiler : apparently you can toss chicken on the ground to distract Cyrion, giving you a couple second advantage. (highlight the text to read)

Yes - and it needs a special key Spoiler : the skull you find on a chest is the key to that chest. You need to have it in your inventory to open the chest
