There are multiple continuity bugs in ACT III with Wyll's story if he rejected Mizora;

  • If the party rescued Counsellor Florrick before entering Baldur's Gate, she'll later approach the party on Ravengard's behalf to wake Ansur. The problem is once Ravengard is also rescued despite Mizora's meddling, the party acts as if the conversation with Florrick never happened, so the exact same Ansur conversation and choices replay again with Ravengard and Wyll.

  • If Wyll rejected Mizora, Ravengard will act as if Wyll gave up his soul to rescue him..

  • 00:22 - The dialogue option '1. Your son sacrificed his soul to save yours. He had no choice' is false, as Wyll did not do that.
  • 00:54 - Ravengard incorrectly acting as if Wyll gave up his soul for him.

  • If the party rescued Ravengard without Wyll, several rests later Wyll will trigger his Iron Throne Prison arrival dialogue about rescuing his father before it floods.

Two more continuity bugs during Wyll's defining story choice if he rejected Mizora;

  • If Wyll chooses to become a Duke, Ravengard will incorrectly lash out as if Wyll is still under Mizora's control.

Ravengard should not be lashing out against Mizora as if she's in control, since both of them are free of her.

  • If Wyll chooses to become a true champion of the people, Mizora will incorrectly act as if she still owns Wyll.

Mizora's 4th and 5th dialogue options are incorrect and should not be available to Wyll who broke the pact, as she can't command him anymore and intends to take away his powers post-Absolute;

  • 4. There are plenty of cultists and monsters to go around. Take your pick.
  • 5. Lead him to the Hells. I'm sure he'll find plenty of quarry.

'Gather Your Allies' quest bug if he rejected Mizora;

  • Despite Mizora offering the player to become a summonable ally against the Absolute; she actually does not become summonable for the final fight.

  • Kitk'rak Voss (Kith'raki Inferno)
  • Counsellor Florrick (Florrick's Cohort)
  • Zanner Toobin (Gondian Steel Watcher)
  • Dame Aylin (Sword of the Silverlight)
  • Yurgir (Hellstalker Yurgir)
  • Valeria (The Watch)
  • Nine-fingers Keene (Guildmaster Keene's Fixers)
  • Jaheira (Silver Harp Squadron)
  • Dammon (Battle-ready Owlbear)
  • Barcus (Ironhand Grenadiers)
  • Isobel (Balm of the Moonmaiden)
  • Zlorb (An Apple a day)
  • Rolan (Rolan's Firestorm)
  • Zevlor (Hellrider Platoon)
  • Ulma (Gur Huntwardens)
  • Mizora (Mizora, Agent of Avernus)

*As can be seen despite her dialogue, Mizora's nowhere to be found as a summon*

Thank you for your efforts!
I have played BG3 up to patch 7 and have never managed to get Wyll's quest to work properly. Always someone's dialogues were bugged. Patch 7 Mizora was refusing to appear, although that is one bug I am not complaining about laugh

At this point I am just hoping that modders will fix the bugs eventually.

I made the same observation as saeran - soemthing was always bugged with Wyll - greetings, quest, reactivity - especially that the whole Ansur dialogue is repeated under certain circumstances. I find it sad, that Wyll always gets sidelined like that. I like him and I like his story, despite there being much less than with other characters, but please make it, that at least the bugs are patched out.

Yeah he and Mizora need some serious development attention, their state is not acceptable a year post-release.

All development attention seems to have gone into him remaining bound to Mizora, as rejecting the pact breaks his storyline's consistency apart (and also Mizora as a summonable ally, was quite sad about that). I'll probably take him with me the next playthrough to test his other path, but let me know in case there are any more issues.

In my experience what completely breaks Wyll's quest is if you assassinate Gortash during coronation. But I think Larian has barely tested this path anyway, as e.g. you get the submarine quest even though the submarine is no longer accessible and that dwarf never appears.
