Hi, Sigarr, welcome

Inventory&trade => the things you wear upon trade have a different coloured description. It takes a while to get used to it. Yellow is equipped, blue is to identify, red is to repair.
If you trade with char A, char B's stuff is shown, but NOT the equipped items.

Inventory has changed in later versions: you have to hit the buttons to see each category. The left upper corner is the place, where picked up or bought items appear. I'd keep it clear if I were you. If you open your inventory for the first time after you bought items out of several categories, they are lumped in the left corner. If you simply click on a button, they disappear into the appropriate category.

Sadly this change misses looking at all in one glance now <sniff>

Missing => as long as you are in Act 1, you can go back to the 1st key. Which one do you mean? The chest or the one near the water riddle book? In this case, you do not need BF key 1; if you have number 2, the highest key opens the lower dungeons as well (Key 2 opens dungeon 1+2, key 3 opens 1+2+3). If you change the Act, you can't get back - and in Acts 2-3 => if you trigger certain parts of the main plot, the game is linear and doesn't allow you to fulfill unfinished quests or (in Act 3) to return to the surface

Encumbrance => I can't give you the exact percentage, but if you are over 50-60% (Raze? Need your maths), you are encumbered and can't run anymore. If you had 800 out of 800 you wouldn't be able to walk either.

Food=> In order to sleep and regenerate, BD needs 2 things => a bed+food (or a bed roll). So, food has not become something to boost up, it is merely one requisite out of 2 to sleep. Drinks regenerate/change/boost for a very short while.

excellent descriptions for encumberance and food/drink kiy!

possibly, it would be more appropriate if encumberance were labeled 'weight allowance' or some such.
truly, it IS confusing to look at 'encumberance', not achieve it, yet be 'encumbered'. hmmm.
but with kiya's explaination, you can see that each character has an 'allowance' and upon reaching a certain percentage of that maximum allowance, you'll become 'encumbered' (slowed), and finally, 'stopped'.

I miss the reputation system of Divine Divinity where NPCs will treat you better if you have a better reputation, not to mention I also miss some spells from divine divinity like the shield that protects you from physical attacks and the other that protects you from magical attacks.

I'm glad somebody else said it first--I have been thinking exactly the same things.

Whoa baby! I agree with the complainant-- and my IQ puts me in the top half of one percent-- if you're a little slow with that stat, sweetheart, that means that out of every 1000 folks out there, there will be four more equal or higher. I am NOT too stupid to understand this, and it is my considered and no doubt brilliantly insightful opinion that the aforementioned complaints about this game are accurate and fair.

The demo of this game really dissapointed me... the combat s much too slow. I was going for a Realistic Fantasy world, Like Divine Divinity.. But in this you move and fight so slow. and being a low level makes no sense, just because you are a level one 30 year old warrionr doesnt mean you move like a snail

Hm, combat speed is slower than in Div, true. I considered it like this: my low lvl in speed compared to the one of - let's say - the ghosts in the demo, put my char into this disadvantage. Maybe I got used to the different attack speed in-game - or it was increased. I recall, I had to take this into account for spell attacks.

THen make it slightly slower but not as Slow as it is... There is no way you could explain to me why a person would be so slow because they arent the best fighter yet. a 8 yyear old can swing at 50 swings per second! Just make the newbie guy miss more...
