Sounds like an old bug reintroduced it happened to my Tav once before around patch 5, I was able to force onwards by hitting either escape key or spacebar whichever key you have set to skip dialogues to move forward.

It feels like something about it just does not finish properly but I also only had it happen once as in not being able to reproduce this hangup, game started from an older patch or was it a fresh new game started after patch 7?

Yeah had to also manually skip after each hang, completely ruined the scene too as this was my first time ever witnessing the epilogue

And yup, this is a completely fresh Patch #7 playthrough (always a completely new one after each major patch).

Works perfectly fine if the player goes together with them to Avernus, but not if it's just Wyll and Karlach.

I'm pretty sure this bug was brought with patch 6, i've seen it in my testing and in multiple streams and videos of playthroughs that ended after patch 6 was released.
