Now that I have finished the game, I found that it was good but not as good as DD. I will play it again but at a higher level. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/eek.gif" alt="" />

There is one thing that I would suggest that might help for the battlefields after the game is finished.

Let us purchase teleporting stones so that travelling back and forth between them would be less of a hassle.

If there is another upgrade coming to replace the 1.45 perhaps this could be added to it. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/kitty.gif" alt="" />

What do you mean purchase teleporter stones? You can fin them in the mushroom forest in act 2. You probably know this, and you meant something else, but I figured I'd throw that in if you didn't.

i don't mean to speak for stridar, but i believe what he's referring to is something you have not yet experienced - you've not finished the game yet, correct?
those lovely teleport stones will disappear somewhere along the game, never to be seen again. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/puppyeyes.gif" alt="" />

this not only makes the end act(s) BFs long and drawn out but the after-game continuation unappealing.
if there was an option for purchasing said stones from a BF merchant, even after the game, it would make replaying (or continuing) the BFs a decent idea. without these stones, it's a laborious hike back and forth causing (i believe) a quick lack of interest in proceeding.

stridar, if i've not stated it correctly, please elaborate.

I still would like to know how the teleporter stones inexplicably disappeared -- and why they were taken away. The BF after the game is a pain in the behind to traverse; it's large, and you don't even have the "leave Battlefield" option that lets you leave at any time and, at least, get transported to the merchants' camp.

Imp historian took them back - no cut scene to explain.

Exactly my point -- no explanation. At first I thought I simply misplaced the pyramids; a reload told me that was not the case.

I've finished the game. I'm sure they are gone, but I really haven't payed attention. Speaking of the end of the game, Damian killed me and so I'm going to try a little harder this time. I never encountered the imp historian again though... Do they just disappear? I usually just exit and reenter the battlefield to get back to the merchants area, then I run back to where I was. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/div.gif" alt="" />

*sighs* As I said, it does not work that way after you've finished the game. You know, when you can enter the BF via rifts? If you haven't defeated Damian, you haven't got there yet. Dur.

As the BF are pretty large, the ones you know from Act 2-4 (with 6 entries each) - having the pyramids to shortcut would be nice.

all that WE'VE done is explain why we'd like the stones and explain that in after-game you can't do that little trick of exiting the BFs (to in-game) and re-enter the BFs to avoid the walk(s).
if you truly don't wish to hear answers that ABSOLUTELY address your post, then you're right in your last missive - leave.

I was just trying to express myself with the caps. I really don't care what you believe in because you know exactly what I'm talking about when I say that our world is going to Hell in a handbasket. Also, you didn't have the presence of mind to think about the fact that I can't get anything off of dictionary.com because I am not signed up. Yes, if you're in the current act - no, if you take pyramids from another act. The pyramids only seem to work if you have the appropriate ones from the current act. As Act 4 and Act 5 have no pyramids => you're out of luck.

How I know? I tried to help a gamer, by putting my Act 3 pyramids into his Act 2 save => didn't work. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/shame.gif" alt="" /> It worked in his save with Act 2 pyramids though. Errhm, can you understand what I mean? I'm not sure I phrased clearly.

Duplication cheat was used by a gamer wrt pyramids => didn't work either.
