OP Tiger stranger Joined: Nov 2024 Location: Emerald Grove	Hello! I'm currently doing several inspiration playthroughs (playing a character for each background and completing all inspirations for each one) but I keep running into ones that just won't trigger. I'm not sure if this is a bug or I'm just doing something wrong, so I hope this is the right place. For example: I just killed all of the hyenas and gnolls on the risen road (by the broken carts, up the hill, and at the cave) but the inspiration did not trigger. I've run around looking for more, I read the notes, etc. and it won't click. On a different character, I stole from the tiefling kid's treasure without angering them (they didn't catch me) and it didn't work. I tried again after saving the kids and earning their favor and it still didn't trigger. Any advice or ideas are appreciated!

Buba68 veteran B Joined: May 2023	Some Inspirations are "come and go" - e.g. the Soldier's Inspiration for nobody dieing at the clash at the gate of the Grove. It was there, a Patch took it away, another Path brought it back, and currently it does not work again. Last edited by Buba68; 26/11/24 05:53 AM.

Because since Patch 7 the two inspiration goals: No One Left Behind (Soldier) Show Them How It's Done (Criminal) have worked for me for the first time in a while...

I play on PS5 but it was recently updated so I assume it was the update that might have messed with them. I haven't tried those two yet but I'm glad they worked for you c:

DiDiDi member D Joined: Oct 2020	Patch 8 and the main problem (bug, at least in my eyes) with inspiration - that the extra inspiration XP is lost whenever a companion leaves the party - is still there. Disappointed... Given that the game tracks all the specific inspiration points gained it should be trivial to make this work correctly... Last edited by DiDiDi; 23/04/25 04:01 PM.
