I was exited to see this Mod as more a one and done package now, cause those were like half the mods I had going and the list does get long hehe.
https://mod.io/g/baldursgate3/m/novfxNot that the Visual FX and Casting Animation themselves aren't excellent in this game, like it's all beautiful work, but anything that has a VFX/SFX duration set longer than like 5 seconds tends to grate on me. I think I'd be totally fine with every visual effect in BG3 being displayed while we're actually in-combat, but it's the stuff that was always up/on while just doing casual exploration that start wearing thin. Same deal with Barkskin and Stoneskin of old for me, like in BG1/2. SFX with a perma-style duration is more distracting for me than VFX doing the same, but I'll take what I can get. This one has pretty much all the others except for the potions I believe.

Anyway, the NOVFX mod does the trick for most of the halos and geometric stuff. One thing it doesn't cover are some of the lighting VFX, like from the actual spells say "Light" or "Daylight" but maybe that's harder to mod. Not sure. I think maybe a couple of the Bard permas that come from inspiration and whatnot might be hanging around still too, but it seems to work pretty well all around. I was happy. It's an unending task I'm sure, like I'm sure there's a whole discography there, but I really only need the Punk in Drublic on it hehe. I admire the work put in though.
