i finally beat the game on honor mode and didnt get no achivement on gog, no golden dice nthing...

i only used cosmetic modes for dyes and camp cloth nothing else

feels so unfair, is this a bug im sure...all this efforts and no reckognition

AFAIK, all achievements and the like are usually turned off if you aren't running mods that prevent it, even if the mods you're running are "only" cosmetic - the system has absolutely no way of knowing that.

You could just run a mod that unlocks the dice, instead.

1st when you say finished does that include the camp scene?


because you need that fully done (talk to everyone and hear the speach) in order to unlock the foehammer, which is what unlocks the new dice


2nd you played on Gog as in with Galaxy... you have a Larian account linked and you didn't just click the bg3.exe to bypass it?

we need more info to work out where you went wrong but i can confirm the unlock works on Gog and yes the yellow dice is pretty to have

yes killed the brain old school without gale abuse,

went to reunion camp scene with all caracters; still got the save there.

my gog galaxy launcher was open in background im sure as i never close it, i always launch bg3 from galaxy launcher which launch the larian launcher witth the play button


next to my save there a lil icon sayyin modded. but as mention i didnt use any gameplay altering mods such as new race or spells or etc, only dyes haircuts camp cloth.

i would be deeply disgust if after 17 wipes and restarts my first ever sucessfull honor mode run wouldent be validate cus freakin dye and a shirt mode

Just for added information Gale abuse does not matter as I had my foehammer and golden dice unlocked with Gale blowing himself up in Act 3, although he did so willingly with no dice checks taking place in my playthrough.

Patch 7 introduced the mod manager and as a result, you cannot get achievements when you play with mods unless using a mod that enables them.

but since i'm already in camp at celebration party dont think it will give me the achive anymore considering how late in gamei i am ill try regardless pff...sucks

also i started my game AFTER patch 7 went live so didnt though it will be affect

Of course it can award you the achievement, is never too late as technically its at the very end of the game after you see the credits when the achievemend is checked, not while still in the celebration camp so please give it a try and let me know how it went.

the achive appears in my list now, how do i check if the golden dice is there tho

Start a new game and when you get to next dice check, at bottom left should be an option to change it now, one way to check out.

i keep get now tho a data mismatch pop up whenever staRTING THE GAme

just run a verify repair

p.s, just also know Gog-larian achievements sync to the computer not the account... since Larian turned off their server link when they bring playstation in patches ago

in practice this means someone with two computers (Say a laptop and pc) finishes the run on their laptop (getting the yellow dice unlocked) and then jumps on the PC will now find the yellow dice hidden because it unlocked at the time the achievement kicked in and is synced to their laptop

if / when Larian gets around to turning their servers back on this issue will fix itself without us needing to do anything and I only bring it up because you said you are on Gog like me
