Hi,

I have had this issue for some time. I have not tried to restore to an earlier save because that would be many hours of gameplay I would have to redo.

The issue is that I cannot level Gale from 9 to 10 and beyond. I was having him learn scrolls I found. And apparently, he learned all the spells he could up to that point. So when I try to level him and the option to select spells to learn is on the level up screen... there is nothing to choose. The game then sees this as being an uncompleted option and will not let me complete the level up.

Patch 8 presented one new spell for him to learn... but he is supposed to pick two new spells. So he is still stuck.

Respeccing does not resolve the issue since he still knows the spells and the issue presents itself once more when I get to that level.

So, what I was hoping for was a save game editor or something so I could remove a learned spell or alternatively, level him past 9 so he can continue leveling up.

I had hoped the BG3 Toolkit could do that but I am not seeing a way to edit a save game.

Could maybe try multiclassing to another full caster class and just scroll learn your 5/6 level spells, something you enjoy doing haha. they’ll all still scale with int

That sounds like a bug with the UI. I have had a similar case in which I have had learned all possible spells due to excessive re-skilling and multi-classing, and I could simply move on when there weren't any spells left to pick.

For a short fix, I second captcatnip's suggestion. 2cleric/10wizard or 2sorc/10wizard are both pretty fun.
