Larian Studios Forums Baldur's Gate III Baldur's Gate III - Technical & Gameplay Problems Characters can't move

I updated to patch 8 and everything went fine at first then suddenly for whatever reason I can't move anybody in my party. Can open inventory, switch between characters, and click on hotbar buttons but my characters won’t move. Camera controls work fine.

I'm on an M3 Mac running the latest OS. I have tried:

-verifying files
-reinstalling
-restarting
-disabling and deleting mods
-jumping
-long resting
-quick save/quick load
-opening inventory and switching between characters
-creating new profile and starting over

Nothing works. Please help.

Did you check if the "conversation" icon is shown next to the portraits ? Maybe an upcoming cutscene that blocks.

Yeah that's not the problem. I created an entirely new profile and new character and started over and as soon as she was controllable on the Nautiloid the same problem was still present. Clicking anywhere on the ground nearby doesn't do anything. She just stands there. I just don't understand.
