Dear community,

I need your support.

I'm looking for a mod that removes the level cap, like the UnlockLevelCurve mod - Levels 13-20.

The problem is that the experience points have been adjusted downwards compared to the original game, even for the lower levels, making it too easy in Honor mode.

Do you have any ideas, or is there a mod that allows me to reach level 12 using the normal level scaling and then remove the cap, or how I can set the required experience points for a new level myself? So far, I've only used the game's integrated mod manager.

Thank you in advance

PS: I've already started a new playthrough with Patch 8 and would like to use the possible solution directly in the running game without restarting.

I'm running Patch 7 with the corresponding UnlockLevelCurve mod for 13-20. Just short of 10th and it seems to be following 5E Handbook, because it's following 14K for 10th not like BG3 which is 13K. Can't get an answer out of this mod creator on his overall level curve scheme from 1-20 - follows PHB or not?

In addition to the UnlockLevelCurve mod you can try this one: Slower Leveling - More XP per Level

Thank you for your answers.

I'm currently using the in-game mod manager. If I understand correctly, I need to install the Baldur's Gate 3 Mod Manager for these mods and deactivate all the mods I'm currently using in the game. Then download and activate them, for example, via Nexus. Is that correct?

I don't quite understand your question. What exactly do you want to do?

The two mods you want are both in-game mod manager mods (mod.io). You don't need anything from Nexus Mods for that.

Currently there are a problems with mod.io and the checkboxes, the ImpUI mod as well as the unwanted re-downloads if not de-subscribing from the mod.io mods. Is that what you mean?

The Mod Manager is actually only needed if you actually use Nexus Mods, because with Nexus Mods the so-called loading order of the mods plays a role, besides other reasons, and you can and must also set this.

But it can indeed be useful here as a workaround, because you can also use it to deactivate mods. The question is whether mod.io does not reactivate it automatically by re-downloading. Therefore de-subscribing in any case.
