My hero (wizard) and DK (warrior) does not get the sharpening skill option. They received the training from that imp (I think it was him) in the cave (Act II), or that might have been the hammer and the sharpening skill from a merchant - I don't remember - only known they got it. When they make points and I go in to give them more skills, there is no option to learn the sharpening skill.

Path is this => Warrior => Craftsmanship. Did you look correctly, please?

Act 1 BF, trader Brian up to lvl 6.
Act 1, weapon officer lvl 5
Act 2, BF trader Brian lvl 8.
Act 3, BF trader Brian, lvl 9
Act 3, smith in the Black Temple, lvl 5
Act 4, BF trader Brian, lvl 10
After game BF trader Brian, lvl 20

Please, tell me: do you find this skill in your skill table? And which version are you playing, please? In earlier versions the BF trader skills did not transport correctly into your skill table.

It does not show up in my skills menu to learn it.

Ok, in version 1.1, you can't have a skill from a BF trader IMO - but not sure. There were so many changes, I have a complete muddle in my mind. IIRC, you could've only had this skill from the weaponry officer in Act 1. IN any case => no imp. Act 2 might have had BF trader Brian.

Poser, please, patch to 1.45.

the patch link => look what all has changed. And the BF skill boost came from version 1.40 on. Version 1.45 lists all skills properly IMO.

Poser, please do me favour => after you have patched. Go to BF trader Brian and buy this skill. Tell me if you see it in your skill table. I'm not sure atm, if patching helps about skills in the BF for the current act (2). It WILL help in any case for BF Act 3.

But, I'd like to know this, why? Cause the BF are generated the first time you enter them per act. I'm just very curious. Thanks in advance.

It worked <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/biggrin.gif" alt="" />. I d/l the patch and went back to the BF and got the sharpening skill from Brian and it shows up in my skill picks.
