late act ii spoilers ahead.










so, i killed the shaman, got the last crystal, got back to the village and of course almost everyone is dead. i got a bookful of unfinished quests and haven't even been to the spider forest yet. are those quests broken? should i just go ahead and move into act iii?

Which are still open in your log?
Merchants and the spider herder Anourax are broken.
Tatourix (lost key) is broken
Mushroom Farmer could work
Imp hero... hm, look if he is in the Spider Forest.
Potion from Alchemist's house => probably broken?
Imp fell down hole => is the lady imp there? Please, look if her brother is still in the pit
Floogefrog killer => I think, that imp is dead
Iriganirix is dead => but no quest, you can grab his keys and loot the chests
Imp hero's wife => not sure, if she is in her house

And I'd go into the Spider Forest in any case, to search the cocoons and look if the hermit is still alive. I think, Sammy only killed the imps in imp village. Do you want me to check? there are sub quests in this area, too - though I don't know if the spiders still exist.

just wandered in and got the imp hero quest and completed it so that one's ok. the merchant is dead but i got some of his stuff. the two guards to the forests are still there. i'll finish up the spider forest and see what's left after i roam around the village. it seems all are gone except those two gaurds.

No, I saw the mushroom farmer myself. He is hopping a bit south of his house.

I'd like to know, if the Spider Forest is full of hostiles or empty.

full of hostiles and waaaaaayyyyyy too many frogs. in fact, 5 reloads worth of frogs so far. argh. also, the quests in the spider forest are fine so far. i'll have to wait until i get back out into the main village to let you know about the others.




oh. wait. just accidently clicked on another fargin frog. i guess i'll have to reload again...

ok, here's what i've got so far. most of the quests seem to be ok. i killed the escaped spider, so i hosed that one on my own but i did go to the one guy's house looking for the white cream and couldn't find it.

btw, in case it isn't obvious, i'm cheating for the greater good here...

i've got 6 quests left. right now i'm in the lich cave and i killed all 3 of the liches, got the statues and am in the room with the one you can't pick up. no sign of a pentagram. can't get the door to open. any help?

also, for the imp hero quest i talked to him but no cut scene. i'll try again later. he just talks and that's it. i talk to his wife and she doesn't recognize that i've rescued him.

never mind about the pentagrams. amazing what turning up the gamma a little can accomplish.

Where is the imp hero, still in the spider forest or in the imp village a bit south of the chieftain's house?

Switching the darkness setting to 50 helps as well.

You can find the cream in the abandoned alchemist's house in Imp Village - but it's of no use => you can't deliver the spider to Anourax => dead.

If you mean the Emu Eartes Sues potion for the imp southwest of the alchemist's house => I'm not sure, if he exits anymore. BTW, this potion in the alchemist cellar (all in Imp village)

Pick up the lost money chest in the lich cave - quest giver Tatourix is dead, but you can loot the chest in his house with it. I don't know, if the content is random, but I found nice charms in there.

What about Stignix, the imp you rescued from the Spider Area => can you tell me if he is in Imp village and can trigger the "Tree of Realisation" quest? http://www.kiya1.de/beyond/act2screens/Act2Stignix0.jpg => here's the little chap.

the imp hero is near the cheiftan's house with his circle of admirers. but when i talk to him the cutscene doesn't trigger. like i said, i'll try again.

i just got the key to the door in the lich cave and quit. i'll go in tomorrow and finish it up.

i did find stignix and finished the tree of realization quest. i didn't go for the answer thingy. what was that about? did i miss anything?

my plan at this point is to finish up all the quests i can and i'll post here the ones left in my quest log. obviously the escaped spider one is showing up as botched.

Nope, if I understood you correctly - you didn't miss anything by not asking the tree a question.
IMo money is the best option, a chest appears at once. Have to look it up this evening => 2500? 4000? 5000 gp?
The weapon is found in the imp hero's house (crossbow) anyway (shows up with ALT).
Armour => is in Act 3 anyway => a grave with a shadow armour.
Seeing Stone => was only a tip IMO
shut out lights and see in Act => either a joke? If it is dark you see... nothing? Or maybe a bug, not sure.

what do you lose in return? to me it seemed like it would be permanent hps.

you don't actually lose anything.
the only option of any value was taking the gold, and it's minimal (and yeah, by this point you'll already have too much anyway).
the option that is intriguing is the 'tip'. but for all my time spent trying to make this happen, i got nothing at all. and i don't think anyone has found anything either.
you truly missed nothing.

ok, for the steal the key quest, the imp was dead but his chest was chock full o' decent loot. the only quests left unsolvable in my quest book are that one (quest not showing as botched), floogefrog killer (no one left alive in herder tent), and steal a box (merchants both dead).

so it looks like the game gives you the option of finishing *most* of the quests.


also, i finally got the imp hero cutscene to activate.
