Hi

I'm currently playing a druid/wizard and I've noticed a few things about spells and spell slots.
First of all, my English isn't that good, so I hope everything is understandable. The screenshots are in German, but I think they're easy to understand with my description and the markings.

1) If I have the same spell in two different classes, in the screenshot Longstrider. Of course, I only assign it to one spell slot. However, it still shows me that I could also cast it in the other class, but I can't right now because there are no free spell slots. I don't find this very helpful, and it's just annoying.

2) For spells, the attribute of the class I start with is displayed in the lower right corner. But if I want to cast the same spell with a class other than the first class, nothing is displayed there.
The screenshot shows the spell Ice Knife. For my character as a druid, it says Wisdom, and for Gale, it says Intelligence. But when Gale wants to cast the spell as a druid, nothing is displayed there.

This is well solved for spell tricks that come from different classes. In the screenshot, Shadowheart has the spell Fire Bolt and can cast it with either Intelligence or Charisma.

3) Spells can no longer be learned by wizards in their class if they already know the spell in another class. In the screenshot, Gale has the spell Charm Person as a druid, but as a wizard he does not have it and cannot learn it anymore. Why? This limits how he can assign his spell slots. Or if you want to cast a spell with a specific attribute.

4) Spells disappear completely if I don't have to assign them to a spell slot because I have already prepared them. In the screenshot, you can see Shadowheart, who is a wizard, druid, and sorcerer. She knew the Ice Knife spell in all three classes. Since she always has the spell ready as a sorcerer, she loses it completely in the other two classes and can only cast it with Charisma.

(Which, by the way, is not displayed again; instead of the attribute at the bottom right, it now says Always Prepared).

However, since the spell hits differently depending on the attribute, it makes a big difference which attribute I want to cast the spell with. In the screenshot, you can see me casting the Ice Knife spell three times. With Intelligence, Wisdom, and Charisma. Each attribute has a different value, as does the attack bonus. +3 for Wisdom, +2 for Intelligence, and +1 for Charisma.

This means that Shadowheart Ice Knife can only cast with Charisma, even though she has more Intelligence and Wisdom. This automatically weakens her, as she hits less often with the spell than before.

I hope you understand what I mean. I don't know if this is intentional, but it seems very chaotic and confusing. I realize that it doesn't make sense to have the same spell three times. But for individual spells, it can be relevant. Especially when it comes to spell slots and their limited number. Maybe something could be done about this in the future? Perhaps with a mod?
