Hi ... long time no see. ^_^
Just stoping by to ask for your opinions ...

I was just watching some Evil Ending videos ... and one thing struck me.
We all know all too well, what happens to our Durge if we choose redemption path ...
But some of us (no shaming here) knows what happes if we embrace our deepest, darkest, dirtiest urges ... and simply kill absolutely everything.

My question is: What do you think would be next?

I was thinking about it ...
And while i believe that wiping out WHOLE material plane is no easy task, hypoteticaly it could be done with Elder Brain power ...
But that would also mean that our Durge would probably gather so many XP s/he would get to level 20 ...
And as we all know, level 20 is the point in story where we can challenge gods. >:]

And so i wonder ...
Do you think that Durge would be satisfied with single world ...
Or do you think that s/he would eventually turn their gaze towards gods ... eventually target his own father ... and maaaaybe, just maybe, in cruel twisted irony cause his own Durge Folly? laugh

Just a thought for thinking. wink

I still dont understand why cant we change Race for our hirelings. frown

I did the evil dark urge ending. I just imagined that, after Withers expelled the dead three, Durge would turn into some kind of monster with limited "range". Haunting an area that will be shunned by mortals, but not powerful enough to slash its way through the sword coast. Thinking of how it was when it approached the camp during Withers' reunion. Rolling eyes, clacking teeth, pissing itself. Just a mindless monster, , cut off from divine guidance or support.

Hate to break it to you, but there are so many super powerful things in the Forgotten Realms that would easily squish a lvl 12 Dark urge even if empowered when he tries a stunt like this.

Im not really sure how much canon that act is supposed to be ...
You know, concidering that WotC released for playtesting a Rogue Subclass that is tied quite closly to whole Dead Three, quite shortly after BG-3 sucess. :-/

//Edit:
But otherwise ...
If you are right, then i suppose that makes perfect sense.
Oh well. smile
Nevermind then. laugh

I just thought it would be fun to imagine how Bhaal vs Bhaalspawn duel would go ...
Especialy since Bhaalspawn would be able to gather his some divinity power as Mahkloompah, so he might be ... lets say not-entirely-reliant-on-daddy. smile

He could also decide to become a humble ox, and get away from all the blood and gore.

I imagine Durge would be like a plague upon everything living. Spreading their splashes of red until nothing remains. And when everything is dark and silent they would end the final living thing.. themselves.

Unless a hero down the path stops them, although they would have to be powerful and stop them before it is too late. I don't imagine the level 12 to be the cap for the Durge (or any of the companions) after the game has ended. Surely they would continue to build power.

I think if you accept Bhaal you essentially become a reincarnation of him. At least that's how I understood the ending. Can Durge eventually reach Bhaal and end his godhood? Maybe.. That would be interesting.

What if Bhaal was not the last on the list. I can imagine some other gods trying to stop Durge and a great battle. Maybe a stab in the back. Some gods taking advantage of the shift in focus to end their rivals. But would they manage to end the Durge, the plague before it's too late?
