Hey, y'all.

So, I made a post on Reddit about this a while ago... but basically this is what's happening to me:

In either Rivington or the Lower City (it doesn't matter which area), after I take a long rest... I am essentially "stuck" in whatever area I took that rest in. If I try to transition to another area, the game will crash to the Home Screen. If I try to reload a save after long resting, the game will crash to the Home Screen.

It doesn't seem to matter what camp I use; at first I thought it was specifically the Elfsong camp — but nope, it's all of them. Because of course it is. As long as I don't long rest... then everything seems to be fine. But the moment I do, this is what happens.

Ever since Patch 8 & the latest Hotfix, Act III seems to be borderline unplayable for me. I have a list on my phone of things that are guaranteed to make the game crash (renting the room at the Elfsong is one of those things, as is saving anywhere near the Stormshore Tabernacle... for some reason) — and so far I've been able to circumvent those crashes through rigorous trial & error... but this one is beyond me. I cannot figure out a workaround here.

Mostly at this point I'm just wondering if I'm the only one having these issues. I've uninstalled / reinstalled the game, and cleared the cache... nothing seems to make a difference. Is anybody else out there playing on the PS5 also experiencing these constant crashes in Act III? And if so, did anything help you...? I should also note that I'm playing as a Durge origin (I have no idea if that matters in the slightest), and that I never experienced these constant crashes until after I got into Act III. Before that, everything worked just fine.

Anyways, apologies for the long post — and thanks in advance to anyone who responds! :‎)

Just wanted to chime in to say you aren't alone -- my friends and I experienced exactly this starting a week ago.
