This is the camp in the wilds of the shadow cursed land. I woke up after a sleep, heard a splash, and saw this blood blam all over the ground. Where did it come from?

I admit, I was a bit reddish after my fights. Is this the blood falling off me after some implied wash after sleep?

There's never usually any implied washing after sleeping. You just become clean after long resting.

As far as what the blood is... Most likely there was some sort of effect wearing off that caused blood splatter (As it's after "Waking up" that the Long Rest occurs and active effects are removed and you're fully healed).

What the effect was? I haven't a clue. From what I recall, I don't remember any effect that causes blood splatter when fading - At least in the base game (I've had some modded abilities that did) - I only recall base game abilities that caused blood splatter while active (Warding Bond's shared damage causes blood splatter. Back when I used Astarion as a Bond Slave he'd always be standing in a pool of his own blood)

Did you have any undead thralls? It's weird so close to the fire, but IIRC ghouls and zombies leave puddles of blood when they "expire". At one point in the docklands camp, I actually had to hose the ground with a spell, because the small pond was getting ridiculously big and a potential health hazard.

Well, I know that as a mechanic! But the RP implies you took a bath. How else did you get clean? They even give you sponges and soap bars you can wash the blood off after a fight! You eat, you bathe, you visit the bushes, you have a sleep, do it with Lae'zel or Shadowheart, it's all good man!
