Just about ready to go to the Waste Lands, and I've got three items that I wonder about. A mirror ("Mirror, Mirror in my hand, who's the fairest in the land"), a Purple Potion with strange markings on it (that I can neither read nor drink) and a Strange Drug (that I am afraid to try <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" /> ). Anybody know what these are for? If they are for the Wastelands or later, please don't tell me.

Ahaaaaaaa, you bought this mirror: it was from El'Gammon - if you buy all his things (rug, dagger, mirror...), you get an additional skill in trader's tongue - if you haven't killed him for selling fake stuff <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/biggrin.gif" alt="" />

Purple Potion - is actually called 'Purple Potion'? If so, it restores 20 health points; sell it. I also could not drink one once, but after re-loading the game to get a screen shot, I could drink it.

Do you mean Super Drug? Temporary (several hours) +100 poison resistance, -100 Spiritual resistance.

Mirror - the only one I know of is the magic mirror from Aleroth used to dupe the healing gem to cure both soldiers. (forgot about El'Gammon)

Kiya pointed out (in another thread) that the mirror is from that one guy who sells the fraud items, so it's probably not for anything else. The super drug is edible, so it probably does some restoration stuff. Still leaves the purple potion - not sure where I picked that up.

The purple potion cannot be drunk. It has weird black markings on it as well.

The mirror you found in Aleroth. Did you happen to get the healing gem from the shrine? If so, you were supposed to duplicate the gem, and heal both the soldiers. (if you drop the mirror and the gem into deep enought water, the mirror will duplicate it)
The purple (you can buy this in the wastlands as well) and the drug made from George's plant both raise you stats, though i can't remeber what. Check out the Alchemy spoiler thread for what they do. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" />
