Hi,

I have had DD for a while now but it has always crashed on my system so I haven't played it up until yesterday. For some reason I decided to try it again, patched it, and it is working fine. yay

Anyway, I'll stop rambling and ask my simple question.

I am in the healers village at the start of the game, a mage, and about level 3 or 4. I am exploring under the village at the moment killing the skeletons.

Is there somewhere in the village that I can sleep? Every bed I try says I don't want to use it incase the owner catches me.

It's hard to keep my mana and health full and I can't work out how to rest

I have searched for answer but cant find anything in the forum.

Any other obvious tips for beginner is welcome too.

Thanks.

You started the game in a chamber under Joram's house. The bed there is yours - you can sleep in it. Search for a hatch (in Joram's place of course)in order to get in the chamber.

Another option would be the bed in the northeastern house.

The bed in Joram's basement has however the advantage that you could bring your temporary companion with you, if you're so inclined, without hurting him

also there is some of the empty houses in the north of aleroth( the one to jakes is behind the flower on his tombstone in the graveyard) the other schould be in a barrel near the house

There's a portable bed available in the game too, if you would like to know where to find it, just yell
